IT Support Technician - Macomb, IL
We are looking for an IT Support Technician to work onsite to support our Macomb, IL location. The Information Technology Support Technician will provide excellent customer services to Bridgeway employees providing computer, hardware, and software support. The IT Support Technician performs systems and network troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose, and resolve problems. Builds and retains great working relationships with other department staff, as well as other Bridgeway employees, clients, and customers. - Assists in maintenance and operations of network and system resources.
- Upgrades user hardware and software components as required.
- Plans for future hardware upgrades and maintenance schedules.
- Assists in maintaining hardware/software inventory.
- Schedules, coordinate, and monitor the utilization of machines and resources and provide ample warning if and when capacities are approached.
- Maintains a working knowledge of existing applications, new applications, operating systems and departmental standards and procedures.
- Provides Tier I technical support.
Our minimum requirements include an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; A+ certification required. Must have 1 to 3 years of practical computer hardware and software experience, experience in network wiring; experience with network and system administration preferred; and experience in configuring end-user applications.
