Description:
The Design Engineer Co-op will work for the product engineering department.
The daily work will be split between “feet on the ground” on the manufacturing floor and part in the office. Working with cross-functional teams throughout the entire lifecycle of the product and processes.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
- CAD-CREO Modeling
- FEA-CREO simulation
- Able to work near full-time during summer with the potential for permanent placement post graduation.
Preferred:
- AutoCAD & 3D modeling experience
- Geometric Dimension and Tolerances
Personal Characteristics:
- Must have the ability to work with people. Must be a team player with willingness to freely exchange ideas and relate well with others
- A hands-on background with a mechanical aptitude
- Must be willing to assume responsibility for accuracy and quality of work assigned
- Self-motivated to work in a rapidly changing priority environment
