Job Title: Head of Technical Accounting & SEC

Location: Sunnyvale (Hybrid: 1-2 days / week in office)

Pay Rate Range: $225k - $275k / year

A Bay Area based late-stage software start-up seeks a Head of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting for a newly-created role reporting into the CAO. This position will manage the end-to-end technical accounting and financial reporting function for the rapidly growing company and this individual will be the point person to assist with an upcoming IPO, including drafting of the S-1, cross-functional partnership both internally and externally, and build out of the related SEC processes for the soon-to-be newly-public company.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a public company

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

• Prior Big 4 (or comparable) public accounting experience

• Strong NetSuite and Workiva experience preferred.
