Shop Service Technician - HOLT CAT Rebuild

Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a full-time, 1st shift Shop Service Technician- position available at our Waco, Texas Machine Rebuild Facility located at 2000 Texas Central Parkway, Waco, Texas 76712. The hours of the position are Monday- Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Job Description :

This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, responding to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and ensuring maximum value for work performed.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:

• Troubleshoot and perform moderate to complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues and repairs.
• At least 1 year of field or shop service technician troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc. (Preferred)
• Must have a GED or High School Diploma. Diesel Tech Schooling is highly desired.
• Must have a steady employment history.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
• Must be able to lift 50# approximately 5 times a day.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Excellent attendance is required.
• Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
• Must have own basic tools.
