Responsibilities:

As a member of our transportation team, you'll:

  • Supervise and support helpers while on the truck, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure the truck's safety and efficiency, maintaining meticulous records.
  • Collaborate closely with our Transportation/Operations Supervisor for effective coordination.
  • Handle special pick-ups and deliveries with precision and care.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring items are stacked securely.
  • Work with the Operations Department to facilitate the pickup and delivery process smoothly.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and DOT requirements diligently.

Qualifications:

  • Valid For Hire endorsement (or Chauffeur’s if prior to 2017) without limiting factors.
  • Maintained DOT physical and compliance with all applicable requirements.
  • Clear background check and ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Familiarity with the city and surrounding areas.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to safety at all times.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends.
