Cross Pointe Insurance Advisors now has offices in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma and are rapidly growing and expanding. Currently, our busy growing office in Texarkana is seeking a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager. Some of the responsibilities include marketing, servicing and providing support to Producers and in maintaining and expanding all assigned house accounts. Processing documentation on new house accounts. Coordinating receipt and organization of prospect and client information/documents to support coverage and placement of accounts; following established agency guidelines to determine appropriate marketing actions on house accounts; pursuing account-rounding opportunities on assigned house accounts; reviewing all policy changes received from the insurance carriers for accuracy and completeness, and requesting corrections as needed; and advising the senior staff members of any potential problems or discrepancies.

Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.

Rate and quote new and existing coverages through rating system or websites.

Provide technical expertise and professional proposals and presentations on property and casualty products for personal lines, commercial lines and employee benefits.

Determine acceptability and placement, complete applications or endorsement requests and collect premiums when applicable.

Secure and submit required renewal underwriting information, such as credit, Clue, MVRs. Maintain own follow-up ad suspense file on outstanding orders and correspondence. Follow-up on all overdue and suspense items. Maintain underwriting files in an orderly and up to date manner. Keeps producers informed on important activities on their accounts.

Positively interact with agency team members to ensure client-focused solutions and services are delivered, including team mentoring and coaching. Refer prospective clients to producers and assist in servicing as necessary. Participate in industry and community organizations as a representative of the company. Participate in seminars and other training to maintain required licenses and for knowledge and skill development.

We also prefer that an applicant have, or have had, a Property and Casualty license. But for the right candidate with a willingness to learn and grow with us, we will train and help license. We pay on a semi-monthly basis.
