Job Summary:

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator plays a fundamental role in leading the organization in the direction of operational efficiency and excellence in processes, ensuring that internal practices and procedures are optimized to meet the needs and objectives of the organization.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting continuous improvement projects through process mapping, identification of opportunities, root cause analysis of problems / GAP's, definition of improvement action plan, project, and process documentation.
  • Monitor the implementation of the new process and ensure understanding through training and change management.
  • Be the connection between the project area and tech, ensuring the documentation and information necessary for the developer team to apply/develop the improvement identified in the project.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Process Management: In-depth understanding of process management methodologies and tools, such as Lean, Six Sigma, BPM (Business Process Management), among others.
  • Data Analysis
  • Process Modeling
  • Communication Skills

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or Applied Mathematics
  • Quality Management or Operations Management
  • Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt Certificate preferred
  • Project Management Professional PMP Certificate preferred
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
