Speech Language Pathologist Full-Time

Independence Rehab is actively looking to hire a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to float between our skilled nursing facilities in the Twin Falls area: Cove of Cascadia (Bellevue), Lincoln County Care Center (Shoshone), Desert View Care Center (Buhl), Oak Creek Rehabilitation (Kimberly), and Mini Cassia Care Center (Burley).

At Independence Rehab, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. We strive to maximize each patient's functional independence to safely discharge her/him to the next level of care.

Here are a few preferred practice-specific competencies in a SNF setting:

• Dysphagia assessment & interventions
• Voice, communication, language, and cognition interventions

Requirements:

• Current SLP license in good standing
• CCC's are preferred but we are happy to entertain CFY applicants. We have resources for supervision as needed
• Master's Degree in SLP from an accredited College or University
• Organized, self-starter with a love for the geriatric population

Our preference is a therapist who has worked at least one year in a skilled nursing facility, but if you are caring, passionate, licensed therapist who enjoys the geriatric population, we would love to hear from you!
