Mission Bay RV Resort is a quiet, beautiful RV resort located in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego. We occupy 20+ prime acres on Mission Bay along Rose Creek's east bank. This a full-time, 40-hour-per-week hourly position. Must be available to work on holidays and weekends. Pay range $17.21-$17.66/hour plus company insurance, 401K with match, paid sick time, paid vacation, nine paid company holidays/year and perks. We look forward to your resume. EOE.

Our landscapers are vital to our success. They ensure our 60+ acres are maintained and look sharp. Good first impressions matter and our landscape team is critical to this achievement.

On any given day, our landscapers do some or all of these tasks:
• Pull old flowers and replant new ones
• Remove leaves and other debris from common areas and/or campsites
• Pull weeds, trim grass, rake and remove leaves and other debris
• Control pests
• Bring lost or abandoned property to security
• Assist our guests, usually by giving directions, answering questions, guiding them to the right department or employee for help
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Collect and trash or other waste materials
• Operate power equipment and other vehicles such as tractors, mowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, or other similar machines.
• Ensure proper hydration of lawns, trees, and plants using sprinkler systems, hoses, watering cans, or irrigation systems
• Perform regular and seasonal maintenance on irrigation systems
• Deliver and spread topsoil and/or straw over newly seeded areas
• Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned

To be successful in the job, our landscapers:
• Need to see, speak, hear, and communicate in a friendly, professional manner with co-workers, management and guests.
• Have a basic understanding of groundskeeping and landscaping practices and procedures plus a willingness to learn more.
• Be able to operate various types of power equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Be able to use hand tools.
• Be able to prioritize tasks, follow instructions and complete assigned work on time with minimal assistance or supervision.
Our landscapers spend the majority of their work time outside in sun and shade, and in dry and wet conditions with varying temperatures.

To successfully perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, landscapers must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, kneel, and pull, push, as well as lift objects weighing a few ounces to 50 pounds.
