Rec Center Attendant

Come join our growing team for the City of Woodstock as a Recreation Center Attendant (MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE).

Who Are We Looking For?

The City of Woodstock is looking for a caring individual to join our team as a Limited Part-Time Rec Center Attendant at the Woodstock Recreation Center. This position is responsible to facilitate a safe and healthy supervised short-term drop-in recreation environment that promotes safe, healthy activities and positive play options for children while the parent/guardian is utilizing the Recreation Center to work out. The position may work up to but no more than 20 hours per week.

Schedule

AM Schedule - This position only works 2-3 days a week):

• Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 11:00am (one or two days)
• Saturday: 8:00am - 10:30am

PM Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 4:00pm - 7:00pm

NOTE: This is NOT a seasonal position: Ideally candidates should demonstrate commitment to year-round employment on a set schedule, preferably for a minimum of 1-2 years.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 16 years of age and older.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED and DCFS Mandated Reporter Certifications upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous childcare or classroom experience.

Salary: Wage is $14.33 per hour and includes a free Recreation Center membership. There are no additional benefits.
