The job description of the Maintenance Technician for the WOAT Pugh-Williams Group will be to:
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
- Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians (if needed)
- Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
- Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
- Participate in coordination of projects (equipment, upgrades, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment
- Perform IT troubleshooting/repairs including, but not limited to computers, TVs, sound systems, door systems, camera systems, etc.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment, hydromassage beds, tanning beds, etc.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
- Perform maintenance of minor electrical systems (replace lights/light bulbs and sockets, etc.)
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
- Travel and complete maintenance where needed/delegated
