Shop Lube Technician - Primoris Fleet - Gonzales, LA

Calling all qualified Lube Technicians local to Gonzales, LA, APPLY NOW!!!! Primoris Fleet Division has an immediate opening for qualified shop lube technicians! Candidates must maintain the ability to provide quality maintenance services in a quick and professional manner.

Job Description:

Daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to, draining motor oil, changing oil filters, changing grease chassis fitting, inspecting and top off fluids, flushes, adjust tire pressure/tire rotation and washing windshields. Perform a variety of manual duties, usually working in our shop and transferring from one location to another or from one task to another, where demands require assistance of workmen with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision.

General Requirements:

• Practice safety rules.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Safe use of hand & power tools.
• Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
• Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
• Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
• Must work well as part of a team.

Functional Requirements:

• Change a vehicle's oil
• Check the transmission fluid levels
• Inspect various belts and filters
• Inspect engines for leaks
• Check air levels and gauges
• Install new batteries, wiper blades and air filters.
• Pick up and carry various tools and materials as needed
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• One (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level).
