Responsibilities
The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for the quality of the product manufactured at our Kettle Falls, WA location. The Quality Control Coordinator develops, schedules, and performs (or directs others to perform) quality control tests and reports. Ensures that testing procedures adhere to established standards in terms of sample size and sample selection criteria. Develops and maintains quality control procedures used by department. Majority of assignments require a sound working knowledge of production policies, procedures and techniques. The quality control coordinator will fill in for supervisors as needed.
Qualifications
- Post high school education (college, vocational, or specialized training) or equivalent experience.
- Prior knowledge of the wood products industry.
- Ability to understand and apply mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
- Must be able to edit and proofread written material to assist in composing the format and content of correspondence and technical documents. Applies proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar when proofreading. Researches and prepares basic reports and correspondence in routine administrative areas.
- Requires a working knowledge of plant, department and company policies and procedures.
