Job Description

We are seeking a punctual, dependable, self starter who is friendly and enthusiastic. This person must be dedicated to patient care and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Assist healthcare providers during procedures, following established protocols and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Clean and prepare examination rooms before and after patient visits, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Obtain pre-certifications as required for medications or referrals.
  • Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Draw lab work, including specimen collection, processing, and documentation.
  • Accurately chart patient information and clinical data in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Assist with patient intake, including vital sign measurements, patient history documentation, and medication reconciliation.
  • Give injections, obtain EKG's, and perform any necessary in office testing.
  • Provide patient education and instruction on self-care, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in medical technology.
  • Answer phone calls and triage phone calls, as needed

  • Assist with lab work, and various clinical duties as needed.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment


Job Requirements:

Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript. NextGen EHR is A+.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 7:45 am - 5:00 pm

Friday: 7:45 am - 2:00 pm
