Oncology Manager

This hospital is part of a much larger parent company with over thirty hospitals nationwide! This system includes Academic Medical Centers, over 4,000 licensed beds, and $4 Billion dollars in revenue. The 445+ bed flagship hospital is a Level 3 Trauma Center and has its own comprehensive Cancer Center. They are dedicated to providing the most advanced cancer care and treatment in the region and sees 350-400 patients a day. Treatments available include medical oncology, radiation oncology, and hematology. On-site services such as the laboratory, pharmacy and diagnostic services allow patients to receive all cancer services in one convenient location.

The Oncology Nurse Manager will have 45FTEs and report up to the Director of the Cancer Center, who has been here for over seven years! This Manager will be on several committees, responsible for quality metrics, clinical support, and education in the Cancer Center. Someone with experience accessing ports and willing to become chemo certified would be a plus.

Requirements:

• Strongly prefers an RN with Oncology experience
• 5 years in inpatient oncology services and at least two years of clinical leadership within this specialization required.

The salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$116,000.00 based on years of experience and education.
