Golf course equipment technician

Our Equipment Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our golf course maintenance equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to the overall success of our golf course operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance on golf course maintenance equipment, including reel and rotary mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other specialized machinery.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address mechanical issues promptly.
• Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance schedules and repairs.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in a timely manner.
• Execute effective repairs to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address urgent repair needs.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an organized inventory of parts, tools, and equipment required for repairs.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to order necessary supplies and replacement parts.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all equipment meets industry safety standards.
• Train and educate other staff members on proper equipment usage and safety procedures.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the golf course superintendent and other team members to prioritize and address equipment needs.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to obtain necessary parts and support.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience working under a reputable supervisor
