Clinical Development Officer

Job Purpose

The Clinical Development Officer will facilitate collaboration and communication between different entities. The primary responsibility will be to connect organizations and teams to achieve common goals to best serve the clients.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or human services related field, OR
• Four years of experience working with clients and their families receiving psychiatric, substance use treatment, or developmental disability services.

Core Job Duties

• Identify opportunities for meaningful collaboration with outside agencies.
• Establish and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with targeted groups, stakeholders, and partners.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for addressing concerns and inquiries related to collaborative efforts in the community.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external organizations to design, develop, and enhance behavioral health services.
• Meet with FCC Clinical Leaders and outside organizations on a regular basis to specifically discuss any issues associated with treatment related access, efficiency, effectiveness, and experience. Brainstorm solutions to address the issues.
• Actively seek and manage feedback from stakeholders to inform practices and business operations. Communicate any issues or concerns to the clinical team.
• Promote awareness and education on behavioral issues.
• Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
• Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
• Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
• Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
• Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
