As a Child Trauma Therapist-Intern, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a unique and rewarding environment, participating in forensic interviews, Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) collaborations, and working closely with our valued Community Partners.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for helping clients under the age of 18. If you're excited about making a difference and want to be inspired by your peers while sharing your knowledge, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Candidates must hold a Master's degree and be registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as ACSW/AMFT/APCC.
Your Role:
Under the supportive supervision of our Licensed Trauma Therapist, you will provide group and individual therapeutic services to children affected by trauma due to child abuse. The center focuses on clear client-directed goals and treatment plans, educating families, guardians, and caregivers on the emotional consequences of crimes against children. This internship requires a six-month commitment, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement.
Work Schedule:
Enjoy a regular part-time position with flexible hours - 24 hours per week. We understand the importance of work-life balance.
Compensation:
Earn a competitive hourly rate ranging from 27.23-29.33.

Requirements for Internship:
- Master's Degree is required.
- Registration with the Board of Behavioral Science as ACSW/AMFT/APCC is a must.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
- A valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage are required.
