Job ID: 1022
Location: Onsite- East Tennessee- Per Diem available for those who qualify
Start: Immediately, Long-term assignment
Must be US Citizen
Clearance: Active or recently active DOE Q or DOD Top-Secret Required. A DOE L or DOD Secret clearance may be considered.
Citizenship: United States Citizenship required

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 to 15+ years of project controls (cost and schedule) experience for construction and complex projects.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Prior DOE/NNSA or DOD project experience preferred.
  • Ability to complete work task with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled at presenting schedule briefings to senior leaders.

Job Description / Duties:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, contractors, and other project services staff to provide schedule development and maintenance, cost analysis and control, earned value measurement, and reporting.
  • Build resource and budget schedules with Primavera P6.
  • Develop and maintain achievable resource-loaded logic-driven schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects.
  • Analyze available manpower and resources, commodity charts, trends, schedule variations, schedule performance and schedule forecast.
  • Develop, maintain, and report schedule health metrics.
  • Implement change controls process as needed.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
