Job Description
Behavioral Health Therapist
Bloomington Medical Services’ current psychiatry practice is expanding to include behavioral health outpatient counseling. We are looking to hire a mental health therapist to work alongside a psychiatrist and nurse practitioner.
Job Requirements
1. Education
1. Master’s degree in clinical counseling, social work, or related field
2. Current LPCC, LPC, LISW, MSW, and licensed in the State of Ohio
2. Minimum Experience Requirement
1. 1-2 years’ experience providing assessment and therapy.
3. Strong oral communication skills
Organizational & Position Expectations
1. Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
2. Individual Counseling
3. Able to work within a small team of mental health professionals.
4. Prepare, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of client treatment plans.
5. Maintain strict confidentiality of client issues and organization matters as defined by professional ethics and applicable laws.
6. Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner, as required by the organization.
7. Other duties as deemed necessary by management or administrative team.
8. Familiarity with privacy, health, and safety laws
