We are hiring a cleared Cyber Security Specialist to support a U.S. Army NEC in Ft. Huachuca, Az.
The Cyber Security Specialist will be a key player in ensuring compliance with DoD Cybersecurity Policy requirements, specifically as set out in DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01.
Key Responsibilities:
- RMF Package Management: Ensure all RMF packages in eMASS are meticulously built, managed, and continuously monitored.
- System Configuration: Ensure all systems are configured in line with DISA STIGs, integrating necessary patches and adhering to all cybersecurity mandates.
- Documentation Support: Aid in the preparation of system authorization artifacts, encompassing System Security Plans, continuous monitoring plans, Risk Assessment, and more.
- Cybersecurity Implementation: Deliver cybersecurity and IA support, including system and network auditing, configurations, mitigations, McAfee ePO and HBSS management, and more.
- Operational Support: Draft and submit Requests for Change (RFCs) and Trouble Tickets (TTs) to address existing IT and system issues.
- Scan Development: Create and schedule credentialed scans for all systems, coordinating with multiple stakeholders for compliance and efficiency.
- Accreditation Support: Conduct technical scans of system/network architectures ensuring a valid RMF Authority to Operate (ATO). Utilize ASID or related systems for documentation.
- Update Management: Assist in adhering to all required STIG and IAVA updates, maintaining alignment with DoD and other governmental configuration mandates.
- RMF Assistance: Provide adept support in vulnerability identification, risk mitigation, and documentation via the RMF system and a POAM. Ensure separate RMF packages for NIPR and SIPR networks are effectively managed.
- Cybersecurity Technical Aid: Offer technical insights to monitor, review, and resolve system and network security concerns. Employ both technical and non-technical tools for certifications, audits, and compliance monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree coupled with 7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity. (An additional 2 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.)
- DoD IAT Level II or higher certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)).
- Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience and familiarity with ACAS, STIGs, RMF, and ATO processes.
