Cybersecurity Specialist

S2Technologies is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to support the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) Data Sciences Division in meeting its mission of providing developmental and production testing of defense programs.

Job Responsibilities:

· Update, patch, evaluate, track, and document Information Systems (IS) as required by applicable law, regulations, and procedures. These include but are not limited to DISA SRGs and Security Technical Implementation Guides STIGs.

· Create Plan Of Action & Milestones (POAM)s.

· Assist the ISSM in the management of cybersecurity program IAW AR 25-2.

· Assist in ensuring systems are compliant, documented and authorized to remain connected to the DREN/SDREN to include Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages if necessary, IAW Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 8510.01.

· Assist in preparation of Cybersecurity audits performed by Government agencies.

· Assist in the integration and/or implementation of Interconnection Security Agreements.

· Assist in the development and implementation of security designs. Ensure that the design of hardware, operating systems, and software applications adequately address Cybersecurity requirements.

· Ensure that system designs support the incorporation of DoD-directed Cybersecurity vulnerability solutions, e.g., Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA)s.

· Participate in an IS risk assessment during the Certification & Accreditation process.

· Document system security design features and provide input to implementation plans and standard operating procedures.

· Recognize a possible security violation and immediately take appropriate action to report the incident to the ISSM, CIO and COR.

Experience:

· 1-10 years of relevant cybersecurity experience

Education:

Certifications:

· IAT Level II (i.e., Security+, etc.)

Security Clearance:

· Active Secret
