BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a highly experienced and skilled Senior Consultant to join our team, specializing in accounting and management consulting for Department of Defense (DoD) entities. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in reviewing financial systems, audit response, and remediation, backed by a solid educational foundation in accounting, finance, or business.


US CITIZEN; ON-SITE IN SAN DIEGO; RELOCATION ALLOWANCE PROVIDED


Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial system data for Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

· Analyze and manage data within the Accountable Property System of Record (DPAS) or similar systems.

· Provide expert audit response and remediation in alignment with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).

· Collaborate effectively with Department of Defense entities, including the Department of the Navy (DON), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Naval Special Warfare (NSW), and others.

· Utilize Microsoft Office Suite products to create, analyze, and present data and reports.


Qualifications:

· A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience within the past 10 years in accounting or management consulting, specifically with DoD entities.

· Proven expertise in reviewing and managing data in financial systems like DAI or similar ERP systems, and DPAS or equivalent.

· Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in audit response and remediation according to GAAP or SFFAS.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business from an accredited United States college or university.

· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Secret Clearance is highly preferred.
