An Ellis Park Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all items related to the restaurant as well as the kitchen areas, assisting with unloading and storing incoming trucks containing dry, refrigerated, and frozen products, and transporting those products to the kitchen as necessary.

Some details of what you will do:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and all other items related to the restaurant operation.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by mopping, cleaning racks and shelves, changing floor mats, and disposing of trash and cardboard.
• Assist with unloading incoming dry, refrigerated, and frozen products and storing them in the appropriate areas to ensure product freshness.
• Transport dry, refrigerated and frozen products to the kitchen as necessary to replenish supplies.

What you need:

• At least one year of relevant work experience in a restaurant or food capacity.
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

It’s the icing on the cake if you have:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two or more years’ experience in high volume food service operation/preparation.
