Project Manager / Construction (from Woodinville to Sammamish, WA)

With award-winning projects from Woodinville to Sammamish, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to provide oversight and leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

About 25% will be “bags on” – light inside framing and finish carpentry.

Planning:

· Create and maintain project calendars, schedule and monitor sub-contractors, conduct pre-construction meetings with sub-contractors, designer, and homeowners, review and make adjustments as needed on job book for each project.

Organize and tracking:

· Responsible for maintenance and accuracy of workflow through Buildertrend, securing and organizing inspections, preparing clients for upcoming events and decision points, creating and executing punch lists throughout the project, warranty, and call backs are efficiently managed.

Procurement:

· Responsible for take offs and securing materials for framing, carpentry work, and millwork.

Supervising:

· The Sr. Project Manager is accountable for the produced result of every project.

· Schedule & manage in-house labor resources on your projects.

· Direct trade partners with confidence and authority.

Communication & documentation:

· Responsible for daily communication and interaction with each project.

Safety & security:

· Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean worksite for both our workers and our clients - aware and respectful of pets and children, and their presence at the home. Communicate clearly with our tradespeople and employees on-site about this.

Relationships:

· Responsible for client comfort and happiness as it relates to their construction project.

· Responsible for maintaining trade partner relationships, vetting/upgrading, and communicating back within Nip Tuck as appropriate.

 

Qualifications

 

· Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in high end residential remodeling, degree in project management or equivalent demonstrated experience.

· In-depth knowledge of construction principals and installation techniques.

· Proficient computer skills including but not limited to: Outlook, Microsoft office 365, Excel, other basic office equipment but not limited to printers, fax machine, scanner, and Construction-related software (preferably Buildertrend).

· Able to perform light inside framing and finish carpentry – 25% of the time.

· Good risk management skills.
