Our company is searching to add another highly skilled hardworking Manual Machinist. We look for individuals with a positive attitude, Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and drive are keys to success within our company.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Machine all parts as required to the exact specifications
- Set Up and Operate Large Swing Diameter Lathes
- Set Up and Operate Long Bed Lathes.
- Must be highly experienced with Steady Rests and Live Centers for Long Parts
- Machine Parts in Horizontal Boring Mill.
- Machine ID and OD threads including Acme, Buttress, and single point
- Take accurate measurements with precision measuring tools
- Machine parts per drawings in Large to Small Lathes
- Machine parts per drawings in Knee Mills
- Machine parts Keep a clean safe work area throughout the day
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Set up, Indicate raw materials in lathe, machine as required including; Live Centers, Steady Rests, etc..
- Technical knowledge and experience in operating manual Lathes and manual Mills
- At least 10 (Ten) years of experience as a Manual Machinist
- Precision measuring and drawing interpretation
- Spray welding ability and experience preferred
- Manual machinist certification or apprenticeship preferred
