Oilfield Service Company in Hobbs, NM is seeking an experienced Controller.
This role is responsible for:
This role is responsible for:
- Prepare annual budgets and publish them with QuickBooks.
- Prepare all financial and metrics reports for the management team.
- Prepare Cash Management Report on Monday morning before 10 am
- Maintaining A/R aging reports
- Perform all month-end closing procedures to maintain accrual-based books.
- Manage all bank account activity and code daily transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and reviews bank statement and sign them.
- Consult with tax preparer and provide required documentation for tax preparation.
- Monitor and ensure accurate and prompt recording of all bank deposits.
- Maintain a current list of all customers and locations. Keep QuickBooks Online current.
- Provide technical assistance.
- Manage the accounts payable process.
- Manage the accounts receivable process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, preferred.
- Ideally 5+ years proven accounting experience within the Oilfield Industry
- Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data
- Working knowledge of regulatory Standards (GAAP)
Salary: $90K to $120/year DOE
