TARSCO Bolted Tank Inc. manufactures and constructs customized, above-ground bolted storage tank systems worldwide.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the development and implementation of safety, health, and risk management programs. Primary responsibilities of this position are to assist operations with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, safety training, hazard recognition, and health monitoring.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Educate and coach operations employees at multiple locations on safety and health procedures to include hazard recognition, risk assessment, industrial health programs, and federal, state, and local regulations and audit compliance.
- Participate in and lead the implementation of annual safety plan.
- Define and communicate safety, health, and risk management processes.
- Prepare inspection reports, accident/incident reports, OSHA reports, safety & health presentations, and any other necessary training materials to assist operations.
- Manage safety meetings and provide safety and health-related materials in order to support operations.
- Assist facility and construction managers in accident investigations and in developing and implementing corrective action plans for the prevention of similar accidents.
- Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring and identify potential overexposures. Assist facility managers in implementing engineering and administrative controls and/or prescribing mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
- Create and maintain a healthy partnership with facility operations managers.
- Perform Job Safety Analysis for facility.
- Investigate all incidents and property loss claims.
- Maintain data of all safety key performance indicators (KPIs). Keep these visible in the site and lead key initiatives that continuously improve these metrics.
- Develop and manage capital projects for safety needs to ensure site is within compliance of corporate, federal, state and other agency requirements.
- Manage emergency response activities for facility.
- Be willing to work a schedule that supports a 24 hour operation.
- Perform other duties as directed.

Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
· Three (3) years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment required
· At least two (2) years of safety experience in the tank construction and repair industry preferred
· Knowledge and facilitation experience of DOT, MSHA and/or OSHA safety and health regulations
· OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification preferred
· Train the trainer certification for LOTO, forklift and other industrial powered equipment preferred
· Strong computer skills to include MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
· Minimal travel required
