Our Installation Technician Manager should have management experience, maintenance/repair experience (handymen definitely should apply!), basic electrical and be able to professionally and courteously complete installation reviews with customers, manage 8-10 installation technicians, product demonstrations, and maintain a pleasant but professional attitude.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, takes pride in their work, and is ready to join an ever growing team.
Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Manages installations of manual/motorized retractable screens/awnings on residential homes, commercial, hospitality, and healthcare.
- Follows daily work instructions in an efficient manner. Insures installation teams follows company regulations/procedures
- Able to drive the company vehicle (clean driving record and valid Driver's License)
- Operate the installation equipment, including but not limited to a reciprocating saw and cordless drill
- Measures product and area to be installed and completes installation according to sales order.
- Tests product to ensure complete functionality.
- Ensures truck is stocked with materials necessary for complete installation, including tools, extra materials, and parts necessary to make repairs.
- Applies knowledge of company products/services to efficiently process customer information and responds to inquiries and complaints in a diplomatic manner.
- Diagnoses, repairs, installs and troubleshoots in accordance with company guidelines.
- Wears appropriate company uniform and safety equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
- Adheres to time clock procedures, safety rules and regulations, equipment operation, equipment maintenance and proper installation procedures in accordance with company training procedures.
Other relevant duties may be assigned.
