Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist who will provide support as part of the Bev-Hub Team by maintaining ingredient inventory, food safety codes concerning ingredients for shipping/receiving, storage, processing, and quality approvals. Also, coordinates the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products between production and the external warehouse.
Essential Job Functions:
· Maintain an inventory system that identifies lot code number, quantity and expiration dates of ingredients
· Verify shipments against purchase orders and store goods systematically
· Monitor the rotation of ingredient inventory by First In, First Use process
· Verify accuracy of ingredients and recipes for all processing SKUs including lot numbers and amounts of ingredients for each batch
· Assist with consistency of everyday processing of quality approved products
· Manage separation of ingredients for storage to meet food safety standards
· Responsible for implementation of quality documents for shipping and receiving of ingredients, including allergens, Kosher, non-GMO, and organic specific products
· Keep precise records and perform regular physical counts to maintain inventory accuracy
· Pick, pack, and prepare orders, ensuring correct and secure packaging
Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience in Shipping and Receiving
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the warehouse team
- Strong computer skills – Office 365, inventory software, and Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to set targets and work towards achieving daily, weekly, monthly goals
- Conduct detailed inspections of incoming and outgoing products
- Ensure all products meet established standards and specifications
- Identify defects and take appropriate action to remove faulty items
- Exceptional ability to identify deviations in standards, processes, and methodologies and communicate issues in a timely manner
- Expert attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and multitasking
- Must always wear personal protective equipment when on production floor
- Participates actively in facility safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions
- Uphold cleanliness and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
- Ability to work a schedule of (5) full 8-hour workdays per week, with the flexibility to occasionally work overtime, nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Timely and regular attendance.
