Job Opportunity: Machinist at Texas Turbine, Inc.

Texas Turbine, Inc., a leading innovator in the turbine industry, invites applications for the position of Machinist at our Azle, TX location. Experience with either CNC and / or conventional machining is a mandatory requirement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficiency in geometry

• Skills in operating lathe and/or mill for precision machining with tolerances of ±0.001”.

• Skills in operating lathe and/or mill for precision and high-precision machining with tolerances of ±0.001” and ±0.0002” respectively

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints; and, endurance to machine for 10 hr work days

• Adherence to quality control standards

Preferred / Ideal Skills:

• Skills in operating lathe for high-precision machining with tolerances of ±0.0002”

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Conventional Machining:

  • Operation of machine tools working with steel, stainless, aluminum, bronze, and titanium.

  • Verification of part measurements

  • Maintenance of machinery and clean work areas

  • Documentation of operating procedures

• CNC Machining:

  • Programming G-code and creating toolpaths using Mastercam, including up to 5-axis programming

  • Preparing post-processing for specific machines

  • Selection and setup of tooling

  • Execution of probing routines

  • Maintenance of clean work areas

Our recruitment process includes a comprehensive skill assessment test, for which you will be compensated for the time spent.

The starting salary for this position ranges from $45k to $80k per year, with significant growth potential offering a range of $60k to $125k annually.

After a six-month trial/training period, employees will become partially eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, with full eligibility granted after one year of employment. Benefits include:
