Pega Consultant:
Columbia SC (Hybrid)
8+ years of experience with 4+ years of hands-on experience on Pega implementation.
Candidate must be a Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA). Should be expert on Pega 7.x, Pega8.x (Pega Infinity) and should be certified (or prepared to upgrade their certification) in latest version of Pega
Implemented various PRPC components like Decision tables, Decision Maps, Declarative expressions, Decision Rules and When Rules
Experience with process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Iterative) strongly preferred.
Should have demonstrated ability to lead a small team with ability to make key design decisions and guide developers
Should have had exposure to a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to, WebSphere or WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .NET, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL.
Skilled in Class structure design in developing PRPC applications
Good to have understanding & hands on experience on integration, agents, file listeners, connectors, services etc.
Good knowledge on activities, data transforms and other basic rules of Pega such as UI, Data Pages, Declare Rules, Flows, Case Management, and reports
Exposure to working on implementing Pega solutions in Banking and Insurance domain will be an added advantage
Experience in implementing solutions using Pega CDH (Customer Decision Hub) is a plus
Responsibilities:
Designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management)
Design/build solutions using various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors and SOAP Services etc.
Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including review alert logs, running pre-flight and PAL.
Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding.
Ability to lead a small team and guide the team in meeting the deliverables on time and quality.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with programmers and other IT staff and non-IT functional areas
Mentor junior team members in Pega technology best practices
Manage offshore/onshore resources and provide technical specs to developers"
