CNC Machinist

ResourceMFG is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Romeo, MI! Ideal candidate comes with willingness to learn, exceptional work ethic and mechanical aptitude.

Shifts available: Mon-Fri 6a-5:30p or Mon-Thurs 5p-6a

Pay: 1st Shift: $17-$30

2nd shift: $17-$30 (+$.075 shift premium)

CNC Machinist Responsibilities & Duties

• Set-up & prove out new and existing programs
• Ability to edit programs at CNC control as needed
• Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches
• Monitor the production process
• Perform and document In-Process Inspection
• Move parts and paperwork to the next stage of production
• Maintain work areas and equipment

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in an active CNC Machinist role
• Candidate must have their own tools
• Ability to read precision instruments, detailed drawings and blueprints
• Good math and mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Critical thinking and a drive for problem-solving
• Ability to Set-Up and prove out new & existing jobs.
• Strong understanding & experience with G & M codes
• Candidate must be able to read and use inspection equipment & tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Etc)
• Editing tool compensation experience is a must.
• Crane & forklift experience is a plus
