Job Description
Our Client is seeking a RPG Programmer for its Suwanee, GA location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in AS400 / iSeries and RPG programming. This position will be responsible for business analysis and RPG programming on the IBM iSeries platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- RPG and CL (Control Language) Programming
- Analysis / Coding / Testing / Debugging / Documenting/Troubleshooting
- Working with Vendors
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in AS400/iSeries and RPG programming
- Advanced IBM iSeries and RPG programming (RPG III, ILE, free) experience
- Experience in Office 365, EDI, IBM Query, and SQL
- iSeries Peripherals experience
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office product suite.
- Highly self-motivated, excellent communication skills, with attention to detail and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of Management & Employees.
