Position Summary:
The On-Call Caregiver provides continuity of care for our clients by ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. The On-Call Caregiver is responsible for customer service and relationship management to ensure our clients are extremely satisfied. This position must orchestrate, monitor, and supervise our client’s care and communicate their needs to all team members, providers, and family members. They are also responsible for covering all service requests and resolving client issues. As the On-Call Caregiver, you must be readily available to assist our clients on an "on-call" basis. Duties will include:
- Personal Care such as bathing assistance, hygiene assistance, incontinence care, mobility assistance, feeding assistance, and other personal care services.
- Cognitive Care such as assisting with patients with moderate to severe dementia, including supervision, specialized communication techniques, and management of difficult behavior.
- Companion Care such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Independent thinker with the ability for flexibility and creativity in finding and solving problems.
- Detail-oriented & proficient in time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with customer service, with a demonstration to service to actively meet people’s needs.
- Knowledge of health care is a plus.
