We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. This role requires you to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing plant's maintenance operations. You will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, developing preventive maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of our plant. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Strong leadership, strategic forecasting, and reporting skills are essential for this role.

Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. This role requires you to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing plant's maintenance operations. You will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, developing preventive maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of our plant. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Strong leadership, strategic forecasting, and reporting skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage maintenance procedures and ensure they are adhered to by the team.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, including robotics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Lead capital improvement projects and manage the budget for these initiatives.
- Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage parts inventory to ensure the plant is always equipped with necessary parts and equipment.
- Use AutoCAD for planning and executing projects.
- Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team, including scheduling and performance management.
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of machinery and other equipment, and forecast necessary upgrades or replacements.
- Collaborate with other department heads to optimize plant operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with forecasting, preventive maintenance, capital improvements, and safety management.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Experience with vendor negotiations and parts inventory management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on staff development and team building.
- Excellent reporting and management skills.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
