What You Will Be Doing:
The Company is seeking an experienced Program Manager who can become a Senior Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical insight, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies. This role requires hands-on scrum master support, agile coaching, and the ability to drive our newly launched SAFe transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple Agile teams within an Agile Release Train (ART).
- Provide Agile coaching to Product and Engineering teams, fostering continuous improvement in Scrum/SAFe activities.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering teams for backlog refinement and prioritization.
- Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning to support multiple agile teams.
- Support the Release Train Engineer (RTE) within the ART and attend Scrum of Scrums meetings.
- Analyze Sprint Metrics to enhance team effectiveness, efficiency, and maturity.
- Facilitate unblocking impediments and track/manage risks and dependencies for agile teams.
- Communicate and explain team analysis to executives effectively.
- Operate with uncertainty and create order from chaos.
- Build credibility and consensus among teams without formal authority.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 8+ years of Program Management experience in agile software development, Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- SAFe certification and a minimum of 8 years of Program Management experience are required for this position
- Experience leading multiple agile teams as a senior scrum master.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Miro, Jira, and Planview.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- SAFe 5.0 for Lean Enterprises certification/experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.
- Ability to represent and advocate for a technical community.
- Proven experience leading globally distributed teams.
- SAFe Agile experience/training, Agile coach, Scrum Master experience/training/certification.
Pay: $77 – $110 /hr.
