What You Will Be Doing:
The Company is seeking an experienced Program Manager who can become a Senior Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical insight, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies. This role requires hands-on scrum master support, agile coaching, and the ability to drive our newly launched SAFe transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple Agile teams within an Agile Release Train (ART).
  • Provide Agile coaching to Product and Engineering teams, fostering continuous improvement in Scrum/SAFe activities.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering teams for backlog refinement and prioritization.
  • Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning to support multiple agile teams.
  • Support the Release Train Engineer (RTE) within the ART and attend Scrum of Scrums meetings.
  • Analyze Sprint Metrics to enhance team effectiveness, efficiency, and maturity.
  • Facilitate unblocking impediments and track/manage risks and dependencies for agile teams.
  • Communicate and explain team analysis to executives effectively.
  • Operate with uncertainty and create order from chaos.
  • Build credibility and consensus among teams without formal authority.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8+ years of Program Management experience in agile software development, Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • SAFe certification and a minimum of 8 years of Program Management experience are required for this position
  • Experience leading multiple agile teams as a senior scrum master.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Miro, Jira, and Planview.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • SAFe 5.0 for Lean Enterprises certification/experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Ability to represent and advocate for a technical community.
  • Proven experience leading globally distributed teams.
  • SAFe Agile experience/training, Agile coach, Scrum Master experience/training/certification.

Pay: $77 – $110 /hr.
