Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Accord, NY
Position Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to foster a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support in various subjects.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff for inclusive practices.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid New York Special Education teaching certification/license.
- Experience working with diverse learning needs.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices.
