Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Siloam Springs, AR

Position Overview:

Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide personalized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Empower students to achieve academic success through creative and differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Provide direct instruction and support in various subjects and life skills.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive practices.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred).
• Valid special education teaching license in Arkansas.
• Experience working with students with diverse needs.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Patience, empathy, and passion for working with special needs students.
