Adecco Staffing is working with a Manufacturing Company in Nashua, NH who is looking to hire on experienced Soldering Technicians! This is a full time, temp-to-hire position.

***Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of previous electromechanical assembly and soldering experience to qualify for this position***
Position:
  • Soldering Technician
Hours:
  • 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay:
  • $20.00 - $24.00/hour based on experience
Position Summary
This position requires expertise in fine soldering skills for PCB manufacturing and re-work. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in the use of soldering irons for installation or removal of micro-miniature components on PCB's for both SMT and thru-hole components.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and follow assembly procedures for installation of SMT or Thru-hole components
  • Expertise in the assembly of electronics products with specific experience in soldering
  • Confer with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding testing procedures and results and to resolve problems
  • Record defects on tag attached to unit and returns unit to production department for repair
  • Work with engineering to transition new products into production, assuring that proper documentation, test fixtures, inspection requirements and equipment are in place to facilitate a smooth transition to production
  • Attend final design reviews and complete first article inspections on any new product releases
  • Other duties as may be assigned
Experience and Skills
  • 4+ years of soldering experience
  • Proven ability to work in a high mix, mid-volume production line
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow or document processes
  • Ability to communicate quality concerns to employees
  • Understanding of Bill of Material structure in assembly processes
  • IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-610 certified highly preferred
  • Ability to perform electronic testing of PCB's or systems a plus
  • QA experience a plus
  • Ability to both sit and stand for varied amounts of time performed in a manufacturing test environment with moderate noise level and an artificial climate control

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
