Responsibilities:

  • Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and within scope of practice.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of best practices for patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in California.
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
