Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

We are seeking a skilledIV Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Corvallis, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise in IV sterile pounding, including handling hazardous medications. Primary responsibilities will involve pounding sterile IV products for ambulatory infusion patients in the cancer center. Please note that candidates without IV experience will not be considered due to the specialized nature of this role and the time required for training.

Location: Corvallis, OR 97330

Schedule: 7a-530p Monday Friday, 13-Weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Perform IV sterile pounding ("mixing") following all applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Handle hazardous medications safely and effectively.
  • pound sterile IV products for ambulatory infusion patients, primarily in the cancer center.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in pounding medications to meet patient needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the pounding area according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to meet patient care goals.
  • Maintain inventory of pounding supplies and medications, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and regulatory requirements.

Experience/Education/Qualifications:
1. One (1) of the following required:
- Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.
- Currently enrolled first-year PharmD student in good standing with an accredited pharmacy school and current unencumbered Oregon Board of

Pharmacy Intern license.
2. Successful pletion of Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred.
3. All job offers are contingent upon the candidate passing a pre-employment/post-offer drug screen.
