Job Summary

The Account Manager (Pharmacy, PBM, & Health Plans) will provide support to customers of Surescripts. The Account Manager will work directly with the Account Executive to understand reporting and data needs, address business problems, and advance planned goals and strategy. The Account Manager will collaborate with all groups within Surescripts, most notably customer support, product, marketing, and finance to drive valued results and revenue for the company.

Responsibilities
  • Develop highly effective relationships with customers.

  • Gather and translate customer business needs into service requirements.

  • Apply understanding of customers strategic plans and collaborate with internal partners.

  • Escalate customer concerns that require intervention from management or other internal business units.

  • Responsible for managing the retention, growth, and satisfaction within designated customers.

  • Ensure customers know the benefits and value of Surescripts products to help drive adoption and utilization of Surescripts products.

  • Coordinate pilots and early adoption opportunities with our customers to gain adoption and utilization.

  • Actively participate in the preparation and design of account reviews with Account Executives to evaluate customer needs and product utilization.

  • Propose business enhancements to reduce errors, increase routing efficiency, and growth of enablement and utilization of Surescripts products.

  • Train and educate other Account Managers.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree orequivalent experience.

  • 5+ years ofexperience in related, progressive roles of account or customer management.

  • 1+ years of experience leading projects.

  • Experience demonstrating value through the utilization of reports, running and interpreting them to highlight trends for customers.

  • Strong communication, influencing, & collaboration skills.

  • Experience partnering with Account Executive/s to manage customer relationships.

  • Self-motivated to increase healthcare / healthtech industry knowledge and learn Surescripts products to promote their value.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy, PBM, or health plan experience and/or healthcare tech experience.

  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $84,300 - $103,100 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
