Salary: 25-50 per hour

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the magic of performing arts? Do you specialize in music & movement, voice, improv, production rehearsals, or a combination thereof? If so, we invite you to join our team as a substitute teacher at our Performing Arts Center, which caters to children of preschool age and up. This role also offers potential for growth within our expanding organization.


Position Overview:

As a Substitute Teacher for our Performing Arts Center, you can step into various teaching roles within our specialized classes. Our performing arts students range from 4 years to 18 years of age. You will work closely with our experienced instructors to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that inspire creativity and ignite a love for the performing arts.


Requirements

  • Proven experience working with preschool-aged, school-aged, or teenagers.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute engaging lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with children and families.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for fostering a love of theatre.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
  • Summer hours are between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (June & July)
  • Fall & Spring Hours 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (August - May)
