Children's Fitness Lead and Party Host

About the Company:
My Gym Childrens Fitness Center is a 700+ locations strong international corporation offering the BEST recreational fitness and gymnastics programs and blowout birthday parties for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years of age. Job Description:
We are looking for someone who is great with children and can be goofy, fun, loud, and outgoing. Its also important that you be a people person as interacting with parents and their children is a primary role of our team members. You will be leading classes, parties, camps, and events. Additional duties include light admin work, day-to-day cleaning of equipment, and general customer service.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work 25+ hours per week, including most but not all weekends
• Monday availability from 11 AM to 4:30 PM (our mandatory weekly meeting)
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with children is a plus
• Health and fitness-focused
• Effective time management
• Commitment to training hard and taking direction well/easily
• Extroverted character personality our team leads, assists, demonstrates and performs various elements in classes with up to 20 children (most classes with their parents)
• Background in theatre, dance, sports, child development, recreation, kinesiology, or fitness
• Clean background check

Compensation:

• Starts at $16.75 per hour or higher depending on qualified experience
• The average trained team member earns $17-$21 per hour
• Additional premiums for specialty and coordinator roles
• Additional premiums for trained party leads and assistants
• Tips - Our families are very generous and take good care of our party hosts on weekends
