Maintenance Technician: Monticello, WI
Our customer in Monticello, Wisconsin is an industry leader in custom cheese packaging. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their team as an entry-level Maintenance Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic maintenance skills looking to grow in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in training Machine Operators.
- Install and set up new equipment.
- Monitor machines during production.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Suggest and implement improvements to equipment operations.
- Perform building maintenance tasks as needed.
Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- Understanding of electrical systems, including primary and control circuits.
- Familiarity with pneumatics.
- Basic knowledge of ladder logic/programming.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Tig welding experience preferred.
- Experience with sanitary design a plus.
Pay for Maintenance Technician: $20.00/hour + $2.00/hour weekly bonus potential
