Salary: $50K to $70K Based on Experience

ForTech Solutions specializes in custom AV design, integration, installation and service to high-end homes, public service and private commercial spaces throughout Southern California.

We are looking for seasoned AV installer/technician with commercial and residential systems experience to add in our growing team. 


Responsibilities:

- Able to read blueprints and follow construction, NEC, BICSI, AVIXA standards

- Run wire(s) in new construction and retrofit job sites

- Terminate and test all types of category and fiber cables

- Install, set up, test, operate, tear down and troubleshoot A/V systems

- Solve technical issues involving the performance and status of audio visual equipment including AV rack equipment, controllers, speakers, projectors, etc.

- Complete detailed daily written job reports

- Fabricating & dressing racks

- Interact with customers, peers, and trade partners for project coordination


Job Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years experience in the low voltage and custom AV field, specifically in commercial spaces

- Must have own hand tools and appropriate trade tools

- Must have clean driving record

- Good understanding of Networking is a must

- Must have understanding of proper rack wiring and system deployment

- Must have great attitude and willing to learn and grow with company

- Must have very good organizational & communications skills

- Ability to trouble-shoot complex audio, video, switching and control systems problems

- Prior experience in working with Control4, Crestron, QSC, Lutron, BiAmp 

- Prior experience or knowledge in commercial AV, boardroom AV, video conferencing

- Ability to read basic AV engineering drawings

- Technician must be capable of carrying 75lbs and have the ability to work varying hours
