CDL Asphalt Distributor Truck Driver

FNF Construction, Inc. is a general contractor providing heavy civil construction services throughout the Southwestern United States. We are seeking an Asphalt Distributor Truck Driver to drive asphalt distributor truck. Sets spray bar on manual, automatic, or semi-automatic distributors for applying liquid asphalt. May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment. May perform other related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing screed extensions and/or dumping trucks. Job requires the following motions: stretching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, walking, standing, reaching and squatting. Requires regular lifting of 25 pounds, occasional lifting of 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds. Uses tools such as wrenches, hammer, screwdriver, shovel, motorized tamp, straight edge, sample saw, concrete saw. Walking, standing and driving occupy the work day. Must pass DOT physical/drug screen. Must have the following Commercial Drivers' License and necessary endorsements in accordance with 49 CFR 383.91: heavy straight vehicle (Group B). Air brake skills test required for all vehicles that have air brakes. Employee must meet the APAC Driver Qualification Standards. Overtime work is often required. May be exposed to extremes of hot or cold weather. The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

Work as part of multiple paving operations for projects located throughout the Permian Basin of West Texas. A current CDL with tank endorsement, an acceptable 5 year driving history and PSP report are required. The Driver must properly track and document activity logs and perform daily pre and post trip inspections. The position is safety sensitive as the Driver will work in and around live traffic and active heavy equipment and machinery. Travel is required.
