Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Gas Cylinder Filler to join our team. As a cylinder filler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe handling, filling, and maintenance of gas cylinders. If you have experience in gas handling, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Cylinder Filling: Operate equipment to fill cylinders and other containers with liquefied or compressed gases.
- Safety First: Adhere to safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment, and ensure proper cylinder maintenance.
- Quality Assurance: Fill cylinders accurately and inspect them before filling.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to perform routine tasks such as labeling, stacking, and packing finished goods.
- Changeovers: Assist in filler and filler line changeovers efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in gas handling or related field preferred.
- Must have forklift experience.
- Ability to lift heavy cylinders and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs., and maneuver more.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
