Black River Falls - In Home Caregiver

Job Summary:

Village Caregiving - Eau Claire is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide support and assistance to clients in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. This individual will be responsible for helping clients with daily tasks and activities, as well as providing companionship and assistance with personal care. This is a part-time, hourly position, with a compensation range of $15 to $25 per hour, paid semimonthly.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily tasks and activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship to clients and engage in meaningful conversation and activities
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Help clients with medication reminders and administration, as needed
- Accompany clients to appointments and activities, as requested
- Document and report any incidents or notable observations to the supervisor
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
- Foster a positive and respectful relationship with clients and their families

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals
- Access to reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- Able to demonstrate patience, compassion, and empathy towards clients
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
